Peter is no stranger to the crease. He began strapping on the pads at age nine for both roller and ice hockey, while looking up to his biggest idol of all time, John Vanbiesbrouck. Peter played with The Connetquot Thunderbirds, Long Island Lightning, Suffolk County PAL, and the JR Islanders to name a few. However, if you ask Peter to name his absolute favorite team, he replies without hesitation, "the Hotshots!" Peter owes his goaltending skills to his goaltending coach Rick Heinz, John Haley of The Goalies Mind and, of course, his dedicated parents, without whom he, like any young hockey player, would have gone nowhere.

Peter lives on Long Island and works as an automotive technician. The commute takes about an hour and fifteen minutes each way and puts some wear on the tires, but the ride is well worth it, knowing there are some wonderful people waiting over at Sky Rink for the goalie's arrival.
